Nina's Latest Commission Paintings

Nina is thrilled to have completed a two large-scale painting commission for a private residence.  The paintings, measuring 9' X 5' and 7' X 5' are companion pieces and will be installed together.  These works represent the largest paintings Nina has worked on to date!

Nostalgia

Nostalgia

Groshek Art Gallery 2136 N. Halsted Chicago, IL 60614

Opening September 16

Nostalgia is defined as a longing for the past, a wistful affection for a period or place that holds personal significance. For an artist, this feeling can be translated in many different ways.

At Groshek Gallery, the sentiment will be explored through a series of artists and their personal interpretation of nostalgia. For some, this means displaying an older work, something created during a time for which the artist holds a special fondness. For others, they created new works that represented their personal nostalgia.
