Art In Hand develops unique playing cards designed by local artists. Their latest project is a national playing deck with an artist from each state designing a card. After a five month research period, the company selected Nina to design Illinois's card: the 5 of Hearts! The set should be available for purchase in early 2012.

After traveling throughout the United States, Nina's globe for the Chicago Cool Globe Project; "Tall Grass"; has found a permanent home at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

Nina's painting "Red Garden" was included in a recent show at the Koenhline Museum of  Art, Oakton Community College "Call & Response:  from Artemisia to Friday"; October 2011.  "Red Garden" will soon be appearing as the cover art for the band Animal Factories' new album, release date January 2015.

Five of Nina's large-scale landscape paintings are featured in the show "Creative Visions" at the Southern Illinois Arts and Artisan Center at Rend Lake.  The show will be on exhibition through March 15, 2012.

The Mavi Contemporary Art Gallery in Tacoma, Washington has announced that its newest solo show will feature the work of Nina Weiss. The dates are June 15 -July 17 with the opening taking place on June 16th. To learn more about Mavi and the show, visit Mavi Contemporary Art.

The entire thirty-minute Landscape Drawing DVD demo will be available in art stores as a bonus in Prismacolor colored pencil tins of twenty-four or larger sets beginning this May.
