Join us this Winter for an intensive focus on your painting practice in the classically beautiful studio of the North Shore Art League. Emphasis will include formal painting concerns such as composition, gesture, line, and color study. Painting techniques such as broken brushstroke, optical color mixing, layering and glazing will help students in their color exploration. Students will be encouraged to work in the paint medium of their choice. Individual instruction is tailored to help students of all levels advance at their own pace. Group critique, hands on demonstration, historical reference and visual aids enhance the classroom experience.
